Café de la Rue celebrates its 35th birthday

2015-10-08 – Located in the Canal Area, Café de la Rue is one of the oldest dinner theatres in the Brussels Region. Based in an authentic 1930s café, it organises dinner shows in a corner next to its old stove, under the wooden board on which the results of the local football clubs, ‘le Daring’ and ‘l’Union Saint-Gilloise, used to be displayed.

In its 35 years, some impressive names have topped the bill: Claude Semal, Bruno Coppens, Jacques-Ivan Duchesne, Pierrette Laffineuse, Jean-François Maljean, Véronique Castanyer, Allain Leprest, Gilles Servat, Goun, Marc Lelangue – the list goes on.
