2014-01-29 - The City of Brussels Public Social Welfare Centre (CPAS/OMCW) is responsible for renovating and restoring the former Byrrh building in Laeken, with more than 9,000 m2 of floor space.

The building, constructed in 1923 and listed in 1997, was the production centre for the aperitif ‘Byrrh’ until the 1960s, and was purchased by the Brussels CPAS in 2007.

There are plans to create a crèche (880 m²) and a business cluster (9,053 m²).
