2013-01-11 -  The Senne Canal, which is closely linked with the Senne between Seneffe and Wintam, is a waterway with many faces and names, and one that presents many challenges.

To train guides on the theme of waterways and the water of the Senne basin, 2013 will see the organisation by the two bodies Guides du Canal and Coordination Senne of an interregional programme of training and activities on the various functions of the Senne and the Senne Canal. The central theme of the seven activity sessions will be an integrated and multipurpose approach to the Senne basin.

The programme is being organised in collaboration with Brussels by Water, Kanaaltochten Brabant and Circuits Brabant-Hainaut, and with support from the Prince Philip Fund of the King Baudouin Foundation, the Brussels-Capital Region and the Flemish Government.

The training programme is open to anyone who is interested.
